History of Tom Ford

Born in Austin, Texas, Tom Ford first trained in drama and theatre before studying interior architecture. During his studies, Tom interned at the fashion house Chloé in Paris, where his interest in fashion was sparked. After gaining some experience in the United States, Tom Ford moved to Europe. After years of working with luxury brands such as Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent, he decided to launch his own label.

The Tom Ford brand was born. In 2005, the first Tom Ford fragrance was launched. Black Orchid was created in collaboration with Estée Lauder and was immediately a great success.
