Make-Up Studio is founded in Amsterdam by a group of makeup specialists, led by makeup artist Wil van ‘t Hek. Wil van ‘t Hek was one of the first makeup artists of the world. He had a passion for makeup and only wanted to work with products of the best quality. He decided to make his own makeup series. In this way, Make-Up Studio was developed. He also developed new makeup products such as a matte eye shadow with a lot of pigmentation which could also be applied wet. In his shop Back Stage in Amsterdam he sold his products. This shop still exists.

Professional makeup

Nowadays (25 years after founding the brand) the products of Make-Up Studio are used by many professional makeup artists. The products are sold in more than 50 countries. Make-U[p Studio is used at fashion shows and tv-programmes. The product range consists of more than 1600 products. The brand always stays up to date of the trends, to keep producing and selling innovative and qualitative makeup.

The products of Make-Up studio are for a large part vegan and halal, is not tested on animals and is of a very high quality. High pigmentation, light to high coverage and long lasting makeup is what Make-Up Studio offers.

Concealers, primers, foundations, blushes, bronzers, highlighters and powders are products which you could find in the product range of Make-Up Studio.
