What is Olaplex?

Olaplex is a brand of hair care products founded by two chemists. They discovered a chemical compound that is completely free of silicones and oils and consists of only one active ingredient. Olaplex now holds 8 worldwide patents. Olaplex products are capable of locating broken disulfide bonds in the hair and permanently restoring them to their original state. Disulfide bonds are strong connections that determine the hair structure. Disulfide bonds can break due to thermal or chemical treatments. Olaplex products are cruelty-free and do not contain oils, silicones, sulfates, DEA, aldehydes, or phthalates.

When do you use Olaplex?

Today, there are many external influences that can damage the hair, such as the sun, excessive use of a hair dryer, curling iron or straightener, and/or dyeing or bleaching the hair. By using Olaplex, you can repair damaged hair. Even if your hair is frizzy, dull, dry, limp, lifeless, and/or fragile, Olaplex can help. After using Olaplex, your hair is stronger, healthier, shinier, and less frizzy.

How do you use Olaplex?

Olaplex has multiple products in its range. Olaplex No.1 and are applied in the salon. In the salon, Olaplex can be added to chemical treatments such as bleaching, foil highlights, and perms. Olaplex No.0 and Olaplex No.3 through 7 can also be used at home. We'll explain below how to use these Olaplex products.

Olaplex No.0 Bond Building Hair Treatment

We recommend using in combination with Olaplex No.3. Apply the product from the hair root. Make sure your hair is dry! Distribute the product over the hair sections. Let it fully absorb into the hair. Olaplex No.0 should sit for 10 minutes. Then, use Olaplex No.3.

Use Olaplex No.0 two to three times per week.

Olaplex No.3 Hair Perfector

Apply to towel dry hair. Let it take action for 10 minutes. Is your hair extremely damaged? Then let it take action for 20 minutes. Rinse it off carefully. Wash the hair as you would do normally. Rinse off carefully. Wash the hair as you should do normally.

Olaplex No.3 could be used multiple times per week.

Olaplex No.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo

Use this shampoo after Olaplex No.3. Remove the excess water out of the hair. Then spread the equally through the hair. Massage well and rise off carefully. Then use the No.5.

Olaplex No.4 could be used every wash.

Olaplex No.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner

Use after Olaplex No.4. First remove the excess water from the hair. Spread the equally through the hair, especially on the hair ends. Let the product absorb for 2 minutes. Then rinse off carefully.

Olaplex No.5 could be used during every wash.

Olaplex No.6 Bond Smoother

Apply the to moist or dry hair. A small amount of product is enough. Apply especially on the middle and the ends of the hair. Then comb the hair through and style as you wish. You do not have to rinse off this product.

Olaplex No.6 could be used after every wash.

Olaplex No.7 Bonding Oil

Apply a small amount of the to the hands. Warm the product by rubbing it through the hands. Then apply to the hair; from the roots to the ends.

Olaplex No.7 is suitable for daily use.
