HERITAGE

It all began during a Sports Illustrated shoot. “On the beach, my hair gel and the makeup artist’s makeup were swept away. I got my gel back with salt water and eyeshadow mixed into it. Miraculously, my ‘ruined’ gel worked brilliantly! It gave the hair an amazing texture. Back in the lab, we mixed sea minerals for the salt, eyeshadow for a sandy effect and fast-drying ingredients to recreate the effect of the sun.”

THE CHOICES WE MAKE

KEVIN.MURPHY stands for fashion, session styling, performance-based products, eco-friendly practices and cruelty-free care. We develop performance-based haircare products using the finest ingredients from nature and the latest skincare technology. Quality and sustainability come first. Our products are weightless, designed to deliver lasting results and provide hold, while also being paraben- and sulphate-free.

ECO FRIENDLY

The natural ingredients used in our haircare range are sourced through methods that minimise environmental harm. We seek out companies that use micro-cultivation, organic growing practices or sustainable harvesting techniques.

Together, we generate a lot of waste. We want to handle it responsibly. All our packaging is made from recycled materials and is predominantly rectangular. This is a deliberate choice: these shapes allow us to fit more product into each package while using less material.

CRUELTY FREE

PETA stands for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals and is the world’s largest animal rights organisation. It works to establish and protect animal rights and fights against all forms of animal cruelty. PETA only partners with companies that produce their products in an animal-friendly way.

At KEVIN.MURPHY, we test our products only on models, never on animals. We have been a PETA-approved company since 2011, and we are proud of it!

SKINCARE FOR YOUR HAIR

All our washes, rinses, treatments and styling products are based on natural ingredients such as vitamins, essential oils, antioxidants and plant extracts, combined with innovative skincare technology.

Quality and sustainability come first. We avoid ingredients such as sulphates and parabens. We also use natural ingredients wherever possible because of their gentleness on the hair and scalp.

The result: weightless hair products that deliver lasting performance, provide hold and are paraben- and sulphate-free.
