Development Lancaster

In 1946 the brand Lancaster was founded by two men with a vision and passion, Georges Wurz and dr. Eugène Frezzatti. They anticipated on the needs of women who wanted to take care of themselves and their children after the devastating war.

Soon, they put up their laboratory in Monaco. Princess Grace Kelly became their most loyal and enthusiast ambassador. Their first spectacular success is ‘Crème Embryonnaire pour la nuit’ and after this the ‘Ligne Roset’. In 1976 they were the first to process retinol in products. In 1993 they introduced oxygen in the cosmetics for the first time with ‘Skin Oxygen’. The products of Lancaster are still as popular and revolutionary.
