Cistus is one of the most powerful accords. Those who appreciate strong expressions will love this one. Iso E Super is an abstract synthetic molecule with a cedarwood undertone and a warm, velvety sensation of enveloping warmth. It's one of those scents you can snuggle into. Cistus comes from the resin of the Mediterranean shrub Cistus ladanifer, with a warm, resinous, and slightly smoky scent. In Molecule 01 + Cistus, Iso E Super meets the raw sensuality of Cistus. The result? A radiant depth. A haze of warmth, pure and long-lasting. Cistus is a scent that lingers on the skin like warmth. It is a resin extracted from a wild Mediterranean shrub. Sticky, golden, intense, with a labdanum scent, but brighter: amber with a hint of sun, smoky, mineral, with leathery nuances that enhance the sweetness. Cistus is a part of labdanum, a plant that grows throughout the Mediterranean. We also used it in Escentric 05 for an alternative summer vibe. Here, along with M+ Cistus, it gives this characteristic leathery note with all its sweet and savory aspects. We use 4% of this cistus absolute—that's a lot, and therefore it's noticeable throughout the fragrance, from top to bottom.
