Maria Nila's color bombs, or colored hair masks as they're also called, are very popular hair products in the Maria Nila range. The hair mask contains color pigment and, in addition to adding color, nourishes and hydrates the hair. Each wash with the color mask deepens your hair color, and after several washes, you achieve a stronger color. Maria Nila offers a wide range of color bombs in various shades, suitable for every hair color. The color bomb ensures that hair color stays shiny and attractive for a long time. It's ideal for use between salon visits, so the color stays beautiful and shiny even between visits. The color bomb is recommended for people with previously treated hair for best results. It should not be seen as a replacement for hair coloring, but as a supplement for long-lasting results. Like all other Maria Nila hair products, the colors are, of course, 100% vegan.
The color refresh is applied after shampooing instead of your usual hair mask. For best results, hand-dry your hair to maximize color retention. The colored hair mask can be left on for three to ten minutes, depending on the desired intensity. The higher the intensity, the longer the colored hair mask will last. Finish with conditioner, which seals the cuticle (outer layer) of your hair and gives it a silky finish. You can use a color bomb in a single color or combine different colors to slightly alter the shade. If you've dyed or colored your hair and aren't satisfied with the color, you can apply a color bomb with a neutralizing color. In some cases, the color bomb can remove unwanted pigmentation and correct the color. What to keep in mind when using your colored hair mask
A color bomb cannot lighten your hair color, but only enhances the pigmentation. If you want to color ingrown hair, you'll need to color or tone it, but a color bomb can help preserve the color. If you want to add other shades to your hair, you can choose a color that differs from your natural hair color so it will fade to a different shade. If you've never used a color bomb before, we recommend testing a small section of hair first and leaving the color bomb in for a few minutes to see how your hair reacts to the color. The quality of your hair and how often it's been treated affect the final result when using a color bomb. Therefore, it's a good idea to know how your hair will react to the color bomb. To avoid staining your hands, or simply if you have sensitive skin, wear plastic gloves when applying your color mask. To distribute the color evenly over the hair, it is a tip to apply the mask evenly over the hair with your fingers or a comb.
