Shortly before the First World War Eugène Fuchs, an entrepreneur with a heart for the magic of perfume, decided to start his own perfumery based on the new concept of selling perfume products directly to tourists who wanted to discover the charm of the French Riviera. Perfumery Fragonard was opened in 1926. Eugène Fuchs chose to name the fragrances after the famous painter in Grasse, Jean-Honoré Fragonard (1732-1806). The spirit of Eugène Fuchs is loyally continued by the three next generations who run the company. On their initiatives new production installations and selling points are opened in Grasse, Eze and Paris. Under the office of Jean-François Costa the Perfumery Fragonard had a quick expansion and modernisation. During the 70’s he designed a large and unique collection of antique perfume related articles which enriched Fragonard and gave a new cultural dimension to the city of Grasse. The daughters of Jean-François Costa, Àgnes and Françoise, nowadays watch the fate of the perfumery and are just as motivated as the previous generations to continue the company, while adapting to current needs and needs of the market.
- Cosmetics: This simple hand cream is enriched with an elegant perfume. The notes are oats, cottonseed oil, vitamin E, shea butter and apricot extract.
- Fragrance: Lovely Eau de Toilette sprays or Eau de parfum sprays for daily use as well as special occasions.
- Home Fragrance: Divide lovely French scents at home with the fragrance sticks or scent candles from Fragonard.
- Soaps & Shower Gel: Fragonard is used to its soaps. The soap is silky-smooth and made for the skin.
