Elie Saab is a Lebanese fashion designer who was born in Beirut in 1964. In 2002 he gained worldwide fame because Halle Berry wore one of his creations during the Oscars ceremony. From a very young age he designs and makes clothes for his sisters and the women in his neighborhood. In 1981 he follows the fashion training in Paris and in 1982 he opens his first studio in Beirut. In the nineties he conquered Europe with his beautiful wedding and evening dresses. Today he presents 4 ready-to-wear and haute couture collections per year.
