Louis Widmer

Louis Widmer was founded in 1960 by Louis-Edouard Widmer and his son Louis-Max in Uitikon, close to Zürich in Switzerland. Father and son wanted to develop care products which are tolerated by the skin. The company has created multiple series for specific skin types, such as a dry or greasy skin, but also dermatologic shampoos, shower gels, sun screens and even products against acne.

Louis Widmer nowadays also works closely with dermatologists to continuously pay attention to the latest discoveries during development and manufacturing. Dermatologic care means that only ingredients are used which are known as working in the dermatology. The production of all products takes place in Schlieren, Switzerland, according to the quality norms of the pharmaceutical industry. Products such as Louis Widmer are not tested on animals.

DIFFERENT SKINTYPES

The Louis Widmer products are developed in the function of the different skin types and could be divided into 5 groups. Dermatologica (treatment of acne, seborrheic eczema), Skin Appeal (greasy, impure, mixed skin), Dermacosmetica (cleansing, face and body care), Remederm (dry skin) and Sun products (protection against the sun).
