History of Narciso Rodriquez
Narciso Rodriguez grew up in Newark, New Jersey. After his study at the Parsons School of Design in New York he started as a freelancer at Donna Karan and Calvin Klein. For more than 20 years he has an unique role in the American fashion industry. His fashion house is based in New York and with his collections he won a lot of important prizes. In 1996 he became famous worldwide when the wife of John F. Kennedy Jr. married in one of his creations. His own ready-to-wear-collection followed in 1997. This was his first female collection under his own label. On the 4th of November in 2008 Michelle Obama wore his design during the celebration of her husband Barack Obama, who became the first Afro-American president of The United States.

In 2003 he made his first perfume for ladies, ‘For Her’. In the same year he won the British FiFi Award for the best new scent and scent of the year.
