Issey Miyake is a Japanese fashion designer who continuously focusses on the visualisation and development of new technologies while producing his clothing. With his originality is Issey Miyake not a style but more a expression of pure creativity. He founded his design studio for clothing and accessories in 1970. In 1992 he launched his first perfume, the light aquatic flower fragrance L’eau D’Issey for ladies. In 1994 he launched L’eau D’Issey Pour Homme. Even the bottle is designed by him, based on the view on the moon behind the Eiffel Tower from his appartement in Paris. Its evolution, L’eau Bleue d’Issey Eau Fraiche, was introduced in 2006. Since 2007 he launched some limited editions together with a guest perfumer. Issey Miyaki aims with his free spirit to innovative creations with the target to improve peoples lives and add more joy to life.
