What is Eau de Toilette for men?

Eau de Toilette is a lighter and more diluted version of perfume. It contains a lower concentration of fragrance oils, typically between 5% and 15%. As a result, Eau de Toilette has a subtle scent that lasts about 4 hours. Eau de Toilette is perfect for daily use and can be applied more frequently than heavier perfumes. It's a popular choice for those who prefer a subtle presence of their fragrance. Often, Eau de Toilette is also more affordable than Eau de Parfum.

What is the difference between Eau de Toilette and Eau de Parfum?

Eau de Toilette has a lower concentration of fragrance oils compared to Eau de Parfum. Therefore, Eau de Toilette has a more subtle fragrance that generally lasts for a shorter time on the skin. Eau de Toilette has a fragrance oil concentration between 5% and 15%, while Eau de Parfum has a fragrance concentration between 15% and 20%. This makes Eau de Parfum more powerful and longer-lasting. Eau de Toilette is more suitable for daily use and can be applied more frequently.

How to make Eau de Toilette last the longest?

  • Hydrate your skin. Well-hydrated skin can hold fragrances longer than dry skin, so apply your Eau de Toilette to well-hydrated skin.
  • Apply to Pulse Points. Apply Eau de Toilette to pulse points, such as the insides of your wrists, behind the ears, the neck, and the elbows. These warm areas help spread the fragrance better.
  • Avoid rubbing. Don't rub your wrists together after applying the perfume. This can break the fragrance molecules, shortening its lifespan.
  • Use an unscented moisturizer. Apply an unscented moisturizer before applying the Eau de Toilette. This can help prolong the fragrance.
