You have different types of hydrogen peroxide for hair, namely hydrogen peroxide of 3%, 6%, 9%, and 12%. The lighter you want your hair to be, the higher the percentage of hydrogen peroxide. However, be careful because if you already have blonde hair and you use a 12% percentage, it can damage your hair. Use hydrogen peroxide with the proper knowledge. Hydrogen peroxide is used by professional hairdressers and stylists.

In the Beauty Plaza assortment, you can find hydrogen peroxide from well-known brands such as Fanola, Goldwell, and L'Oréal.

Hydrogen peroxide for hair 3%

If you have a light blonde hair color and want to go one shade lighter, go for hydrogen peroxide 3%. With hydrogen peroxide 3%, you can go one shade lighter. If you don't have any gray hairs to cover, this percentage is sufficient. When coloring the hair darker, the hair dye is often mixed with hydrogen peroxide 3%.

Hydrogen peroxide for hair 6%

You use hydrogen peroxide 6% when you want to go two to three shades lighter. With this percentage, you can also cover gray hairs. For light blonde hair or when going for a darker color, you should use a maximum of hydrogen peroxide 6%.

Hydrogen peroxide for hair 9%

With hydrogen peroxide 9%, you can go three to four shades lighter. However, the risk of hair damage is greater when you use this percentage. Do not use hydrogen peroxide with this percentage on washed hair because the scalp then no longer has a natural protective layer of fat.

Hydrogen peroxide for hair 12%

We recommend always using a lower percentage of hydrogen peroxide on the hair because 12% is very aggressive. With hydrogen peroxide 12%, you can go up to 5 shades lighter. This means you can make dark hair very light. However, only use hydrogen peroxide 12% if there is no other option because it can severely damage the hair.

Bleaching hair with hydrogen peroxide or lightening hair with hydrogen peroxide
